"iron" at two out of its first
three tournaments. The Slam! Team is
shown here with its trophy from the April
2009 Lombard Lightning Wood Bat
tournament. The Slam! also brought
"iron" home from the May 2009
"Spring Fling" Streamwood

called up to the Boston Red Sox parent
team and winning his first Major League
pitching start in a 7-2 victory over our
beloved White Sox on August 30th! |

1st team all-conference for the DVC
(Dupage Valley Conference). |

the GABA 15U Eagles on qualifying for a
World Series for the third year in row
and representing Illinois against Japan,
Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic,
Canada, and the rest of the USA at the
2008 USSSA 15U National Championships in
Crystal Lake, Illinois! |
